Mashed potatoes with marinated minute steak

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 500 g Minute steaks (thinly sliced pork chops)
  • 1 Lime
  • 3 Stem(s) flat leaf parsley
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sherry
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Lime juice
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Capers
  • 1 TABLESPOON pink berries
  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 500 g Sweet potatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 TABLESPOON Butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Cucumber
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Wine vinegar
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 5-6 Tbsp Oil
  • 100-150 ml Milk

Directions

    Wash the steaks and pat them dry. Wash lime, grate dry and cut into slices. Wash parsley, dab off leaves. Mix sherry, lime juice and slices, capers, pink berries and parsley. Spread over the steaks and marinate for about 30 minutes. In the meantime peel, wash and dice the potatoes.

    Peel and finely dice the onions. Melt butter, fry an onion and potatoes in it. Season with salt, add 3/8 litres of water. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes. Meanwhile peel the cucumber, cut it into fine slices or slice it. Sprinkle with salt and let it steep a little. Mix vinegar, 4 tablespoons of water, remaining onion cubes, sugar and pepper. Add 3 tablespoons of oil. Mix with the cucumber slices. Leave to stand for a while, season if necessary. Dab the steaks dry and keep the marinade. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes, turning them over.

    Mix vinegar, 4 tablespoons of water, remaining onion cubes, sugar and pepper. Add 3 tablespoons of oil. Mix with the cucumber slices. Leave to stand for a while, season if necessary. Dab the steaks dry and keep the marinade. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan and fry the steaks for 3-4 minutes, turning them over. Add the marinade ingredients, fry briefly. Drain half of the potato water. Pour on the milk. Mash the potatoes to a puree. Season again with salt and pepper. Arrange puree, steaks and cucumber salad in portions
