Wash apples, dab dry, quarter and core them. Cut apple quarters into thin slices and mix with lemon juice. Stir sauce powder, 50 g sugar and 5 tablespoons milk until smooth. Bring the remaining milk to the boil and stir in the sauce powder. Bring to the boil again briefly.

Meanwhile cook the gnocchi in plenty of boiling water for about 2 minutes until they float up. Drain them on a sieve. Remove apples from the pan. Put the remaining fat in the pan and fry the gnocchi in it for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Mix in the apple pieces and distribute on plates. Add warm vanilla cream.
