Ingredients

  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Rum
  • 125 g Icing sugar
  • 2 rectangular orange fruit gum
  • 2 thin green fruit gum ribbons
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Coconut flake
  • 7-10 Tbsp various sweets for
  • 7-10 Tbsp the sushi fillings
  • 2-3 red, green and brown wide fruit gum bands
  • 7-10 Tbsp orange sugar beads

    Knead marzipan, 2 tablespoons of rum and icing sugar and divide into 10-12 pieces. For the rectangular Sushi, shape the marzipan pieces into the size of the orange fruit gums and place the fruit gum on top as a lid. Wrap each piece with a thin green fruit jelly ribbon. Spread the marzipan edges with rum and sprinkle with coconut flakes. For the round sushi, press 6-8 marzipan pieces a little flat and place 2-3 sweets in the middle. Roll them up and press them slightly together.

    Wrap wide fruit gum bands around the marzipan and press them together. Spread the marzipan surface with rum and sprinkle with grated coconut. Form the remaining two marzipan pieces in the size of the other sushi, also wrap a wide fruit jelly band around them and press sugar pearls into the marzipan surface. Put the marzipan sushi in a box, close it tightly and give it away as a present, preferably freshly prepared. Results in 10-12 pieces
