Ingredients

Servings: 45
  • 100 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 125 g Butter or margarine
  • 250 g Flour
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package (6 g) "Fine lemon peel"
  • 7-10 Tbsp a few drops of "bitter almond" baking oil
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 TABLESPOON Whipped cream
  • 75 g Dark chocolate coating
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour

Directions

  1. 1

Cut the marzipan into small pieces. Cream the soft fat and marzipan with the whisk of the hand mixer. Add flour, sugar, salt, fine lemon peel, baking oil and egg and knead to a smooth dough.

  2. 2

Leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Roll out thinly on a floured work surface and cut out stars of different sizes with cookie cutters. Whisk the egg yolk and cream, brush the biscuits with it and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-12 minutes.

  3. 3

Let it cool down on a cake rack. Chop the chocolate coating and melt in a water bath. Cut off a small tip from a freezer bag, fill in the chocolate coating and trace the contours of the stars.

  4. 4

    Allow to dry.
