Ingredients

  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 package Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 200 g Marzipan raw mass
  • 250 g Flour
  • 50 g Cornstarch
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 9-10 Tbsp Milk
  • 250 g Dark chocolate coating
  • 7-10 Tbsp pink decoration sugar
  • baking paper

Directions

    Cream fat, sugar, vanillin sugar and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer. Add the eggs one after the other and stir in. Grate marzipan into the mixture. Mix flour, starch and baking powder. Alternately stir in 4-5 tablespoons of milk. Put the dough in a cool place for about 45 minutes

    Form approx. 50 walnut-sized balls from the dough. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper. Put about 12 balls on each baking tray. Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 10 minutes. After 8 minutes baking time, brush the surfaces with approx. 5 tablespoons of milk and bake. Let the Americans cool down on a cake rack. Bake the rest of the Americans in the same way

    Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and melt it over a warm water bath. Dip the American briefly into the couverture so that the underside and edge are covered with it. Sprinkle with decorative sugar. Allow to dry
