Marshmallow banana skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 glass (720 ml) Sour cherries (690 net; 370 g trimmings)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cornstarch
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1-2 TABLESPOONS Rum
  • 200 g Dark chocolate
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 TABLESPOON Lemon juice
  • 100 g Marshmallows
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint
  • 7-10 Tbsp wooden skewers

Directions

    Drain the cherries, collect the juice. Stir 2 tablespoons of juice and cornstarch until smooth. Boil up the rest of the cherry juice. Add sugar and mixed starch. Boil up again while stirring. Fold in cherries, season with rum and let it cool down.

    Chop the chocolate and melt in a hot water bath. Peel bananas, cut into pieces and sprinkle with lemon juice. Put marshmallows and banana pieces alternately on skewers. Either drizzle chocolate over the skewers with a tablespoon or fill into a small piping bag with a small perforated spout. Then decorate the skewers in strips. Serve skewers and compote in portions decorated with mint
