Marinated beef steak with chilli sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 piece(s) (5 g) Ginger tuber
  • 1 tablespoon (10 g) Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (10 g each) Teriyaki sauce
  • 1 (approx. 125 g) Beef hip steak
  • 1 small red chili pepper
  • 150 g Brussels sprouts
  • 1 tsp (5 g) Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 30 g Basmati rice
  • 1 tsp (5 g) Oil
  • 1 teaspoon (10 g) Honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Coriander leaves

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the ginger. Mix lime juice and Teriyaki sauce. Stir in ginger and pour over the steak. Leave to stand for 20-30 minutes. Wash the chilli, cut lengthwise and remove the seeds.

    Chop the pod finely. Clean and wash the sprouts. Heat the fat in a pot. Add Brussels sprouts and 100 ml water. Season with salt and chilli and cook for about 15 minutes. Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions.

    Heat the oil in a pan. Remove the steak from the marinade, dab dry and fry on both sides for 2-3 minutes. Remove the steak and keep it warm. Add marinade, 3 tablespoons of water and honey to the pan and bring to the boil.

    Season with pepper. Drain the rice and let it drain. Arrange rice, Brussels sprouts, steak and sauce on a plate. Garnish with coriander.
