Ingredients

  • 250 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 300 g Flour
  • 3 TSP Baking Powder
  • 150 g Fresh cream
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Cocoa
  • 50 g Chocolate flakes dark chocolate
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Milk
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Fat and breadcrumbs

Directions

    Cream the soft fat with the whisks of the hand mixer. Add salt, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir in the eggs one after the other. Mix flour and baking powder, sieve onto the fat cream. Stir in together with crème fraiche.

    Halve the dough. Stir in half of the cocoa, chocolate shavings and milk. Pour light-coloured dough into a greased box form (25 cm long, 1.5 litres capacity) sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Spread dark dough on top. Marble with a fork. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for about 1 hour. Leave to rest in the pan for 10 minutes. Turn out onto a cake rack and let it cool down. Dust with icing sugar.
