Ingredients

  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1-2 stem(s) Thyme and rosemary
  • 7-10 Tbsp or 1 teaspoon dried ital. herbs
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 750 g mixed mince
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1 can(s) (850 ml) Tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, pepper, sugar
  • 500 g Macaroni
  • 75-100 g Gouda cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 100 g Whipped cream

Directions

    Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Wash, pluck and finely chop the herbs. Fry onions and garlic in hot oil until transparent. Add minced meat and fry well. Sweat tomato paste briefly. Add herbs and tomatoes together with the juice. Season. Bring to the boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes

    Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente. Grate cheese. Season sauce to taste. Drain noodles

    Layer the pasta and sauce in a large greased casserole dish (approx. 20 x 32 cm). Spread cheese and cream over it. Bake in a hot oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3) for approx. 30 minutes

    You can prepare the casserole. Layer everything but cream and cheese, chill. If necessary, bake for 5 minutes longer.
