Linguins with broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 Broccoli, (400 g)
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 180 g Linguines
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 100 g Double cream cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chili Flakes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon juice

Directions

    Clean 1 broccoli (400 g) and divide into very small florets. Peel and finely dice the stalk. Finely dice 1 onion and 1 garlic clove.

    Cook 180 g linguine in plenty of boiling salted water according to the package instructions. In the meantime heat 2 tbsp. olive oil in a pan. Fry the broccoli, onions and garlic for 5 minutes at medium heat and add salt.

    Stir in 100 g double cream cheese and melt.

    Drain the pasta, collecting 150 ml of pasta water. Stir the pasta water into the broccoli and cream cheese mixture and bring to the boil. Season with salt, dried chili flakes, 1 pinch of sugar and a few squirts of lemon juice.

    Mix in the noodles and serve sprinkled with chilli flakes.
