Kale soup with soup greens and bacon

Ingredients

  • 500 g Kale
  • 1 collar Soup Greens
  • 375 g Potatoes
  • 200 g streaky smoked bacon
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 1/2 l clear broth (instant)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Sort the kale, wash thoroughly several times and drain. Add to approx. 3/8 litres of boiling water, bring to the boil and allow to collapse. Pour onto a sieve, drain and chop.

    Clean, wash and slice the soup greens except for the celery. Cut the celery into sticks. Wash, peel and chop the potatoes. Cut bacon into thick slices. Heat oil in a pot and fry the bacon.

    Take out, soup green and potatoes in the hot bacon fat briefly braise. Add kale and bacon and pour on broth. Cover and cook for about 40 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
