Krakauer stew with Silesian gherkins

Ingredients

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 3 Onions
  • 2 Meat Tomatoes
  • 600 g Krakow sausage
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 TABLESPOON Tomato paste
  • 1 TABLESPOON Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 7-10 Tbsp ground caraway
  • 7-10 Tbsp dried marjoram
  • 1 glass (670 g; 370 g weight) Silesian cucumber snacks
  • 7-10 Tbsp Marjoram

Directions

    Peel and wash the potatoes and cook them in boiling salted water for about 20 minutes. Peel onions and cut into thin slices. Wash, clean and dice the tomatoes. Cut sausage into slices.

    Heat the oil in a pan. Fry slices of sausage in it. Add the onions and fry briefly. Add tomatoes and tomato paste, dust with flour and stir in, add 1/2 litre water. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, caraway and marjoram.

    Bring to the boil and simmer for about 5 minutes. Drain the potatoes. Arrange potatoes with the stew and cucumbers on plates. Garnish with marjoram.
