Onions peel and cut into slices. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into pieces. Clean and peel carrots and cut them into pieces. Clean, wash and cut kale into strips. Heat 2 tablespoons of lard. Fry the onions, potatoes and carrots for about 10 minutes, turning them over. Season with salt and pepper and take out.
Add remaining lard. Sauté the kale for 10 minutes while turning and season with salt and pepper. Deglaze with broth and braise covered for about 40 minutes. Add onions, potatoes, carrots and mustard seeds after about 20 minutes cooking time. Cut the sausage into slices. During the last 10 minutes of cooking time heat up in a kale pot. Season again and serve
