Kaiserschmarrn with strawberries

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Orange liqueur
  • 3 Eggs (size M)
  • 75 ml Milk
  • 100 g Edible quark (20 % fat)
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 100 g Flour
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Butter or margarine
  • 7-10 Tbsp Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Mint

Directions

    Wash, clean and halve the strawberries. Mix with 30 g sugar and orange liqueur. Separate the eggs. Whip egg yolk, rest of sugar, milk, quark and salt until creamy. Gradually stir in the flour.

    Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into the egg mixture. Heat the fat in a large pan. Add the dough and fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown. Cut Kaiserschmarrn into large pieces with the help of 2 forks.

    Dust the Kaiserschmarrn with icing sugar and arrange on a plate with some strawberries. Decorate with mint as desired. Add the rest of the strawberries.
