Italian bread roll (diabetics)

Ingredients

  • 30 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cleaned tomato
  • 1 (50 g; for baking) Mini-Panelino Rolls
  • 1 TEASPOON Garlic butter
  • 1 disc (approx. 20 g) ital. Mortadella
  • 7-10 Tbsp some basil leaves
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarsely ground coloured pepper
  • 1 salad leaf and 2-3 olives to arrange

Directions

    Cut the mozzarella and tomato into slices. Cut the rolls in half and spread with garlic butter. Cover the lower half of the roll with mortadella, some slices of tomato, mozzarella and basil. Sprinkle with pepper and cover with the upper half of the roll

    Brown the rolls under a hot grill at the highest level or in a preheated oven (electric range: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 4) for 2-3 minutes. Arrange salad and olives with the remaining tomato slices and as desired
