Italian beans with meatloaf

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1 Bread roll (from the previous day)
  • 1 baby onion
  • 750 g mixed mince
  • 1 egg, salt, black pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease
  • 500 g Cutting beans
  • 1 can(s) (425 ml) Italian white beans
  • 1 clove of garlic (e.g. freeze-dried)
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • 1 package (370 g) chunky tomatoes
  • 1 TEASPOON Italian herbs

Directions

    Soak the buns. Peel and chop the onion. Knead half onion, minced, squeezed out roll and egg. Season with salt and pepper

    Form minced dough for frying. Place on a greased baking tray and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C / convection oven: 175 °C / gas: level 3) for approx. 1 hour

    Clean, wash and chop the string beans. Cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes. Drain the white beans

    Peel and chop the garlic. Fry garlic with remaining onion in hot oil. Drain the sliced beans. Add all beans, deglaze with tomatoes, add herbs and bring everything to the boil. Stew for about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Arrange meatloaf with vegetables. Serve with Italian bread or boiled potatoes
