Fried cabbage with minced meat

Ingredients

  • 200 g Long grain rice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 (approx. 1 kg) Head white cabbage
  • 1 TABLESPOON clarified butter
  • 500 g mixed minced meat
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated nutmeg
  • 500 ml Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 200 g Processed cheese
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley

Directions

    Prepare rice in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Meanwhile peel onion and garlic. Finely chop the onion. Press garlic through a garlic press. Cut cabbage first into slices and then into bite-sized pieces, wash and drain.

    Heat clarified butter in a very large pan. Fry the onion and garlic until transparent. Add minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add cabbage and sauté briefly. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Deglaze with broth. Stir in processed cheese and simmer for about 5 minutes at low heat. If necessary season with pepper and nutmeg. Fill rice into a rice ring (or any other form), press it, turn it out on plates and fill it with chopped vegetables.

    Garnish with parsley.
