Wash and peel apple and pear, remove core. Cut fruit into small cubes. Wash and stone plums and cut them into cubes
Wash the elderberries, strip them from the stalks, put them in a pot and boil them with 1/4 litre of water, sugar, cinnamon, aniseed and half of the fruit covered for about 20 minutes. After about 10 minutes, add the rest of the fruit and 1/4 litre of water and cook covered for another 10 minutes.
Mix the pudding powder with approx. 6 tbsp. water, stir into the elder compote and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring continuously. Serve warm or cold
