Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 5 square slices (à approx. 45 g) deep-frozen puff pastry
  • 25 g Raisins
  • 30 g Sugar
  • 1/2 TEASPOON Cinnamon
  • 25 g soft butter
  • 4 medium sized apples (approx. 175 g each)
  • 50 g Icing sugar
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper

Directions

    Defrost the puff pastry individually on the foil in between. Rinse raisins and pat dry. Meanwhile mix sugar and cinnamon, knead with raisins and butter. Wash apples, dab dry, remove seeds with an apple corer and peel. Fill cinnamon butter into the apples. Roll out 4 slices of puff pastry thinly to approx. 15 x 15 cm on a work surface lightly dusted with flour.

    Place 1 apple on each of the rolled out slices, fold the corners and press them together. Cut out flowers from the remaining slice, place them on the compressed corners and press them together slightly. Brush with water and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) until 20-25 golden brown. Remove the apples and let them cool down for about 5 minutes. Mix icing sugar and lemon juice to a thin glaze, brush the apples with it and serve
