Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot and fry the onion in it. Deglaze with approx. 100 ml water and bring to the boil. Add the rice and cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
Season with salt. Add peas about 5 minutes before the end of the cooking time and cook. In the meantime, heat the remaining oil in a pan and fry the meat for about 10 minutes, turning it over. Clean, wash and cut the peppers into pieces.
Add about 5 minutes before the end of the frying time and fry as well. Clean, wash and cut the cabbage into strips. Add shortly before the end of the cooking time and cook. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Arrange rice and giros on a plate.
Serve garnished with parsley as desired.
