Greek minced steaks with tzatziki and farmer salad

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 200 g Whole milk yoghurt
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 2 discs Toast
  • 1 Onion
  • 400 g mixed minced meat
  • 1 Egg (Size M)
  • 1 TEASPOON Medium hot mustard
  • 1 TEASPOON Tomato paste
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sweet peppers
  • 100 g Feta cheese
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes
  • 3 Stem(s) Parsley
  • 50 g black pitted olives
  • 2 small red onions
  • 1 package (450 g) deep-frozen fries
  • 1/2 Picking salad
  • 4 TABLESPOONS white balsamic vinegar
  • 3 TABLESPOONS Olive oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 l oil for frying

Directions

    Wash the cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise for about 2/3 and cut it into slices. Cut the other 1/3 first into slices, then into thin strips. For the tzatziki, put yoghurt and cucumber strips in a bowl. Peel garlic and press a clove through the garlic press to the yoghurt. Season the tzatziki with salt and pepper and put it in a cool place. Soak toast in cold water.

    Peel onion and chop finely. Put 1 clove of garlic through a garlic press into a bowl. Add minced meat, egg, squeezed toast, mustard, diced onion and tomato paste to the bowl and knead well. Season the mince with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Cut feta cheese into pieces of approx. 4 cm long and approx. 1 cm thick. Weigh about 50 g minced meat, place a piece of cheese in the middle and form into round minced steaks. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs all around. Place the minced steaks on a baking tray and cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 15-18 minutes. In the meantime, wash and clean the tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Wash parsley, dab dry and cut the leaves into strips. Cut olives into slices.

    Weigh about 50 g minced meat, place a piece of cheese in the middle and form into round minced steaks. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs all around. Place the minced steaks on a baking tray and cook in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 15-18 minutes. In the meantime, wash and clean the tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Wash parsley, dab dry and cut the leaves into strips. Cut olives into slices. Peel red onions and cut them into rings. Fry the French fries in oil according to the instructions on the packet. Clean and wash the salad and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Mix lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber slices, onion rings, olives, vinegar and olive oil. Season salad with salt, pepper and a little sugar

    Peel red onions and cut them into rings. Fry the French fries in oil according to the instructions on the packet. Clean and wash the salad and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Mix lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber slices, onion rings, olives, vinegar and olive oil. Season salad with salt, pepper and a little sugar
