Greek mince with Mediterranean vegetables (food combining)

Ingredients

  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 Onion
  • 150 g Minced beef
  • 1 small egg
  • 7-10 Tbsp Herbal salt
  • 1 TEASPOON unhardened vegetable fat
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 ml vegetarian vegetable broth (made from instant powder)
  • 1 Branch Thyme
  • 6 TABLESPOONS frozen corn grains
  • 30 g Pecorino cheese (Feta)
  • 7-10 Tbsp some sage leaves

Directions

    Peel the carrot and grate very finely. Peel onion and dice very finely. Put the minced meat in a bowl and mix with egg, herb salt, diced onion and grated carrot. Form 2 flat meat patties from the meat dough and fry them in hot fat until brown. In the meantime, peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Peel the cucumber, cut it in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the flesh into small pieces.

    Halve the pepper, remove the seeds, wash and dice the fruit. Fry the onion in the oil until transparent. Add cucumber pieces and strips of paprika and braise for a short time while stirring. Deglaze with broth and simmer in the closed pan for 8-10 minutes. Season with thyme and stir in corn grains. Crumble cheese over it and garnish with sage leaves. Serve the mince with the vegetables
