Ingredients

  • 150 g Butter
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 75 g ground almonds with skin
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 150 g white couverture
  • 1-2 TEASPOONS Pistachio kernels
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Coconut scrapings
  • 7-10 Tbsp sugar beads/hearts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • baking paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp One piping bag

Directions

    Knead the butter in pieces, sugar, flour, vanillin sugar, 50 g ground almonds and egg first with the dough hooks of the hand mixer, then with your hands to a smooth dough. Cover and chill for about 30 minutes. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of approx. 5 mm. Cut out snowmen (about 10 cm long). Put the biscuits on 2 baking trays lined with baking paper.

    Bake one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 10-15 minutes. Let them cool down. Chop the chocolate coating. Melt carefully on a warm water bath. Coarsely chop the pistachios. Pour the chocolate coating into a piping bag. Paint snowmen with it. Sprinkle with 25 g almonds and grated coconut. Decorate with pistachios and sugar pearls/hearts.
