Ingredients

Servings: 40
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 110 g cold butter
  • 1 untreated orange
  • 90 g golden syrup
  • 75 g dried fruits (e.g. dates, plums, apricots)
  • 50 g white chocolate
  • baking paper
  • 7-10 Tbsp blue decoration sugar and sugar hearts
  • 7-10 Tbsp Paper forms

Directions

    Mix flour, baking powder and sugar. Add cold butter in flakes. Mix to a crumbly dough with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Wash the orange hot, rub dry and grate the peel. Add peel with syrup to the flour mixture and work into a smooth dough. Cut fruit into pieces, chop and fold into the dough. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

    Use 2 tablespoons of the dough to cut off the cams on the baking trays and bake them one after the other in a preheated oven (electric range: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 6-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove and let cool off. Melt the chocolate over a warm water bath. Dip the cams halfway, drain thoroughly, place back on the baking tray and decorate with decorating sugar and sugar hearts. Leave to dry. If necessary, place in paper cups
