Gratinated orange filets

Ingredients

  • 4 Oranges
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 6 TABLESPOONS Sugar
  • 1 TABLESPOON Cornstarch
  • 7-10 Tbsp grated rind of 1/2 untreated lemon
  • 2 Protein
  • 1 TABLESPOON Icing sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Lemon balm

Directions

    Peel oranges generously so that the white skin is completely removed. Remove the fillets with a sharp knife between the parting skins. Collect the juice. Mix quark, 3 tablespoons of sugar, cornstarch, orange juice and lemon peel. Beat the egg whites with the whisks of the hand mixer until stiff, letting the remaining sugar trickle in.

    Fold the beaten egg whites into the quark mixture. Divide the orange filets into four small ovenproof casseroles. Spread the quark mixture evenly on top and bake in a preheated oven (electric range: 250°C/ gas: level 5) for 3-5 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve decorated with lemon balm leaves
