Grapefruit with dates

Ingredients

  • 4 pink grapefruits
  • 2 TABLESPOONS demerara sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 lime
  • 4 fresh dates (alternatively dried)
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Pistachio kernels
  • 7-10 Tbsp Slices of lime

Directions

    Peel the grapefruit so that the white skin is completely removed. Cut the fruit into thin slices and spread on dessert plates. Mix brown sugar and lime juice. Cut dates in half lengthwise and stone them.

    Finely dice the dates. Chop the pistachios. Mix both with the lime juice and pour over the grapefruits. Decorate with slices of lime.
