Grape muffins with chocolate strips

Ingredients

  • 150 g green and red seedless grapes
  • 175 g Butter or margarine
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 4 Eggs (size M)
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 package Baking Powder
  • 50 g Whipped cream
  • 75 g Dark chocolate coating
  • 12 Paper baking cups
  • 1 Disposable piping bag

Directions

    Wash the grapes and pluck them from the stems. Put 9 green and 9 red grapes aside. Quarter the rest. Cream fat, sugar, salt and 1 packet of vanilla sugar with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in the eggs one after the other.

    Mix flour and baking powder and stir in the cream alternately. Mix in the grapes. Line 12 depressions of a muffin tin with one paper baking cups each. Spread the dough evenly in them. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven: 150 °C/ gas: level 2) for approx. 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool in the mould on a cake rack for approx. 10 minutes. Remove muffins from the tin and let them cool down. Melt the chocolate coating over a warm water bath. Let cool down briefly. Pour into a piping bag, cut off a small corner.
