Wash the chives, dab dry and cut into fine rolls, put something aside for sprinkling. Mix sour cream and mayonnaise with chives, season with salt and pepper. Halve the baguette and cut each half once lengthwise. Spread the baguette breads with herb butter and place on a baking tray. Roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 4) for 8-10 minutes
In the meantime wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Peel the onions, slice or chop them thinly. Wash the meat, dab dry, cut each steak into 3-4 pieces. Season with salt. Heat oil in a large pan, fry steaks in it for 1-2 minutes on each side
Season steaks with pepper. Cover baguette breads with tomatoes, steaks and onions. Sprinkle with remaining chives. Add chive cream. Olives taste good with it.
