Goat cheese in bacon coat on salad

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 300 g mixed salad (e.g. radicchio, pickled salad, rocket, batavia)
  • 150 g cherry tomatoes
  • 4 TABLESPOONS light balsamic vinegar
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Pumpkin seed oil
  • 4 Picandou (goat cheese taler, approx. 40 g each)
  • 16 discs Bacon
  • 1 TABLESPOON Olive oil

Directions

    Clean and wash the salad, pluck into bite-sized pieces and drain. Wash the tomatoes, dab dry and cut in half. Season vinegar with salt, pepper and sugar. Pumpkin seed oil under it.

    Wrap the goat cheese with 4 slices of bacon each. Heat olive oil in a coated pan. Fry the cheese thalers in it for 4-5 minutes while turning them over. Mix tomatoes, lettuce and vinaigrette in a bowl.

    Remove the cheese taler and serve with salad. Baguette bread tastes good with it.
