Clean, wash and cut the peppers into small pieces. Peel and chop the onion. Heat the oil. Sauté the onion briefly. Add paprika. Fry vigorously for approx. 3 minutes, turning.
Deglaze with tomato juice. Let it boil down at high heat for 2 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and dried herbs. Wash basil, dab dry and cut into strips, except for a few leaves for garnishing.
Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes. Serve with vegetables and basil.
