Gnocchi pan with mirabelle plums and Tyrolean bacon

Ingredients

Servings: 3
  • 400 g fresh gnocchi (cooling shelf)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 250 g Mirabelle plums
  • 150 g Tyrolean bacon
  • 1 red chilli pepper
  • some stem(s) Sage
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 7-10 Tbsp black pepper

Directions

    Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water for about 2 minutes, drain and drain well. Wash, halve and stone the mirabelles. Cut the bacon into small pieces. Halve chilli pepper lengthwise, scrape out seeds and wash and finely chop the pepper.

    Wash the sage, dab dry, pluck off some leaves. Cut remaining leaves into fine strips. Heat oil in a pan, fry bacon and sage leaves in it, remove. Add gnocchi, chilli, mirabelles and strips of sage to the frying fat, fry for a few minutes, season with salt and pepper.

    Mix in the bacon and garnish with the sage leaves.
