Ingredients

  • 1 Turkey thigh (approx. 1,3 kg)
  • 7-10 Tbsp salt, white pepper
  • 1 TEASPOON sweet marjoram
  • 1 baby onion
  • 7-10 Tbsp some + 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 l Chicken broth
  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 1 collar Soup Greens
  • 1-2 Bay leaves
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Apricot Jam
  • 1/2 bunch Parsley

Directions

    Wash the leg, dab dry and rub with salt, pepper and marjoram. Peel onion, cut into eighths

    Fry the leg and onion in a lightly oiled large roasting pan or on the fat pan in a preheated oven (electric range: 175 °C/circulating air: 150 °C/gas: level 2) for approx. 2 hours open. After approx. 30 minutes pour on the stock bit by bit

    Peel potatoes, wash and quarter them lengthwise. Fry them in 2 tablespoons of hot oil. Clean, wash and chop the greens. Fold into the potatoes and season with salt, pepper and bay leaf. Distribute around the leg about 1 hour before the end of the frying time. Turn more often

    Spread the turkey leg with jam. Continue roasting for about 15 minutes. Serve everything. Wash and chop the parsley, sprinkle over it

    Good yield: With a turkey leg of approx. 1.3 kg
