Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Duck breasts (à approx. 400 g)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 800 g Teltow Turnip
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 2 TABLESPOONS liquid honey
  • 7-10 Tbsp Juice of 1 orange
  • 2 stem(s) flat leaf parsley

Directions

    Wash duck breast, dab dry, season with salt and pepper. Place duck breast on the fat pan of the oven and roast in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 25-30 minutes. Peel, wash and halve the turnips. Heat oil in a pan. Brown the turnips in it. Season with salt and pepper.

    Add honey, orange juice and 100 ml water, bring to the boil and cook for 5 minutes. Wash parsley, dab dry, pluck leaves from the stems. Cut leaves into fine strips. Take out the duck breasts, let them rest for a while. Arrange meat and Teltower turnips on a plate. Sprinkle with parsley and garnish
