Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1 (500 g) Baking mix "brown gingerbread"
  • 25 g soft butter or margarine
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 package (6 g) fine orange fruit
  • 300 g Dark chocolate coating
  • 30 g peeled almonds
  • 15 g candied cherries

Directions

  1. 1

Pour the baking mixture into a mixing bowl. Add soft fat, egg, fine orange fruit and 1/8 litre cold water and mix to a smooth dough with the whisks of the hand mixer. Grease a baking tray (approx. 32 x 38 cm) and spread the dough evenly. Make a slightly firmer bar out of aluminium foil that has been folded together several times and place it in front of the dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) for approx. 20 minutes. Let cool off.

  2. 2

In the meantime melt the chocolate coating in a hot water bath. Quarter the almonds lengthwise and cut the cherries in half. Coat the cake with the couverture, let the chocolate "attract" slightly and mark the surface in 30 pieces. Decorate each piece with almond quarters and the cherry half. Once the chocolate coating is dry, cut the cake into 30 pieces.
