Fruity strawberry-lime jam (for 5 jars of 400 ml each)

  • 1 1/4 kg Strawberries
  • 1 1/2 package (500 g each) "Extra jam sugar."
  • 7-10 Tbsp juice of 6 limes (approx. 250 ml), alternatively lemon juice

Directions

    Wash, clean and coarsely dice the strawberries. Mix the sugar with the strawberries in a pot and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Heat the strawberry-sugar mixture. Add lime juice and let it boil for about 3 minutes.

    In the meantime, rinse twist-off glasses with boiling water. Fill jam to just below the rim. Close and turn upside down for about 5 minutes. Leave to cool.
