Wash, clean and coarsely dice the strawberries. Mix the sugar with the strawberries in a pot and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Heat the strawberry-sugar mixture. Add lime juice and let it boil for about 3 minutes.
In the meantime, rinse twist-off glasses with boiling water. Fill jam to just below the rim. Close and turn upside down for about 5 minutes. Leave to cool.
