Fruit in amaretto syrup

Ingredients

  • 200 g Sweet cherries
  • 200 g Apricots
  • 2 Peaches (about 80 g each)
  • 1 Orange
  • 1/2 (500 g) Cantalup melon
  • 200 g Watermelon
  • 1 Lime or
  • 7-10 Tbsp untreated lemon
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 200 ml Amaretto liqueur

Directions

    Wash the cherries and remove the stalks. Wash apricots and peaches, halve and stone them. Cut peaches into slices. Peel the orange thickly, removing the white skin with it. Then halve and slice the peaches.

    Deseed both melons. Cut out balls from the flesh with a ball cutter or dice the flesh. Wash the lime hot and cut into slices

    Bring sugar and 150 ml water to the boil and simmer for about 2 minutes, stirring continuously. Let cool down a little. Halve the vanilla pod. Fill into a clean glass with the fruit. Mix Amaretto and sugar solution. Pour over the fruits so that everything is covered. Close the jar tightly. Leave to stand for at least 1-2 days
