Fried zucchini strips

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 small onion
  • 100 g Sheep's cheese
  • 150 g whole milk-
  • 7-10 Tbsp Yoghurt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp white pepper
  • some stem(s) Thyme
  • 4 medium zucchini
  • 1 Egg
  • 4 TABLESPOONS Flour
  • 100 g Breadcrumbs
  • 2-3 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 10 g Herb Butter

Directions

    For the sauce, peel and finely dice the garlic and onion. Mash sheep's cheese with a fork and mix with yoghurt, onion and garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the thyme leaves and add. Clean, wash and cut the zucchini into approx. 1/2 cm thick slices. Blanch briefly in boiling salted water and drain. Whisk the egg in a deep plate.

    Turn the zucchini slices first in flour, then in the egg and finally in breadcrumbs. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the slices until golden brown. Wash the tomatoes, cut them crosswise and spread with the herb butter. Bake under the hot grill of the oven. Arrange zucchini slices, grilled tomatoes and sheep's cheese dip on plates. Garnish with thyme
