Blitz-Pizza with curly tomatoes

  • 1 Flatbread (approx. 500 g)
  • 100 g Pecorino cheese
  • 4 Stem(s) Basil
  • 4 curly tomatoes (about 150 g each)
  • 1 1/2 can(s) (425 ml each) Pizza tomatoes
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper

Directions

    Cut flat bread in half horizontally. Grate cheese finely. Remove basil leaves and cut into fine strips, except for a few for garnishing. Wash, clean and slice the tomatoes. Spread flat bread halves with pizza tomatoes.

    Cover with tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with basil strips and cheese. Bake the breads one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for about 15 minutes. Garnish with remaining basil
