Wash the potatoes and cook in plenty of boiling water for about 20 minutes. In the meantime peel and halve the shallots. Peel and slice the sausage. Wash and clean the chilli and cut into rings. Rinse potatoes under cold water, drain and peel the skin. Cut potatoes into slices. Heat up a large pan.
Add slices of sausage and fry for 4-5 minutes while turning, remove. Add potatoes and fry in sausage fat for about 10 minutes. After half of the time add shallots. Wash chives, dab dry and cut into fine rings. Add chilli to the potatoes after about 8 minutes. Add chives and sausage and warm up briefly. Season with salt and pepper
