Fried potato pan with grilled sausages, apple wedges and red onions

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 750 g waxy potatoes
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 red-baked apples (approx. 200 g each)
  • 20 g clarified butter
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 4 Stem(s) Marjoram
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Oil
  • 1 package (300 g, 14 pieces) Nuremberger rib steak sausage
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse salt

Directions

    Wash potatoes thoroughly and cook in boiling water for about 20 minutes. Peel and finely dice the onions. Drain potatoes, rinse and peel. Let the potatoes cool down a little, then dice them coarsely

    Wash apples, quarter them, cut out the core. Cut apples into slices. Heat 10 g clarified butter in a large pan. Add apple slices and fry for about 2 minutes while turning. Remove from the pan

    Melt 10 g clarified butter in a frying pan, add potatoes and fry for 8-10 minutes, turning. Season with salt and pepper. Meanwhile wash the marjoram, shake dry, pluck leaves from the stalks and put some aside for garnishing. Mix apples and marjoram into the potatoes, heat briefly

    In the meantime, heat the oil in a second pan and fry the sausages for 3-4 minutes, turning them over. Sprinkle potato pan with coarse salt. Arrange some sausages on top. Garnish with remaining marjoram. Add the remaining sausages
