Ingredients: Cream butter, sugar, grated orange peel and salt with the whisk of the hand mixer. Stir in 1 egg. Mix flour and baking powder and knead in quickly with your hands. Cover and chill for approx. 30 minutes. Roll out the dough thinly in portions on a floured work surface.
Cut squares (approx. 6 x 6 cm) with a knife. Place on two baking trays lined with baking paper. Place plum puree in small blobs in the middle of the squares. Cut each square about 2 cm deep from the 4 corners towards the middle. Fold every other corner of the dough towards the middle and press them slightly together over the filling. Whisk 1 egg, brush the dough wheel with it. Bake the trays one after the other in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ convection oven: 175 °C/ gas: level 3) for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on a cake rack. Use a small cookie cutter to cut out stars from the orange peel.
