Figs in Parma ham

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bunch Sage
  • 12 (70 g each) Figs
  • 12 discs Parma ham (about 10 g each)
  • 12 (approx. 30 g) Walnut halves
  • 7-10 Tbsp coarse sea salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp ground black pepper

Directions

    Wash the sage and shake dry. Pluck off leaves. Clean the figs and cut them in half crosswise. Score the lid half crosswise. Wrap 1 slice of ham around each lower fig half and cover with 1 sage leaf.

    Place 1 walnut half each in the cut lids. Arrange figs and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
