Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 red peppers (150 g each)
  • 2 (150 g) medium-sized onions
  • 150 g Tomatoes
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 100 g Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/2 Tsp 83 g) Instant vegetable stock
  • 1 tablespoon (10 g) Oil
  • 5 (approx. 250 g) hot dog sausages
  • 150 g small mushrooms
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Chilli powder
  • 8 discs (approx. 120 g) Ciabattabrot
  • 7-10 Tbsp Parsley
  • 7-10 Tbsp Shashlik skewers

Directions

    Cut the peppers into quarters, clean and wash them, one in large pieces, the other in small cubes. Peel onions, dice one finely, cut the other into thin rings. Wash, clean and finely dice the tomatoes.

    Peel garlic and dice finely. Put diced paprika, onion, tomatoes and garlic with ketchup and 100 ml water in a pot, bring to the boil. Stir in the stock and let it simmer for about 10 minutes at a mild heat.

    Heat oil in a coated pan, fry onion rings for about 5 minutes at medium heat until golden brown. Cut the sausage into 5 pieces. Clean, dab dry and halve the mushrooms. Put pepper pieces, sausage and mushrooms alternately on 8 skewers.

    Remove the onions from the pan and fry the skewers in the frying fat for about 3 minutes on each side. Wash parsley, dab dry and chop finely, except for something to garnish. Season sauce with salt and chilli powder, stir in parsley.

    Toast bread and serve with skewers, onion rings and sauce. Garnish with parsley.
