Fairytale tent in the snow

Ingredients

  • 7-10 Tbsp 2 P. custard powder vanilla (for cooking; for each 1⁄2 l milk)
  • 6 TABLESPOONS + 200 g sugar
  • 150 ml + 3⁄4 l milk
  • 250 g soft butter, salt
  • 4 eggs + 1 fresh egg white (size M)
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 crossed out. Tsp baking powder
  • 250 g Icing sugar
  • 1 Tube red food colouring
  • 7-10 Tbsp sugar beads and stars, love beads for decorating
  • cling film, baking paper

Directions

    Stir pudding powder, 6 tablespoons sugar and 150 ml milk smooth. Boil 3⁄4 l milk and stir in the pudding powder, let it simmer for about 1 minute while stirring. Rinse a bowl (approx. 18 cm Ø) with cold water, fill in the pudding. Let it cool down and put it in a cool place for at least 4 hours. Preheat the oven: Electric cooker: 200 °C/circulating air: 175 °C/gas: level 3. Spread some water on a fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm and 3.5 cm deep), line it with baking paper so that it sticks to it

    Stir butter, 200 g sugar and 1 pinch of salt until creamy. Stir in 4 eggs one at a time. Mix flour and baking powder, stir in briefly. Spread the dough on the fat pan and bake for about 20 minutes. Let it cool down. Beat for the icing 1 egg white and icing sugar in a high mixing bowl with the hand mixer until almost thick creamy. Halve the icing and colour 1 half with food colouring red. Cover the glazes so that they do not dry out

    Pull the cake plate with the baking paper onto a work surface. Cut out 2 circles from the cake using a 2nd bowl (approx. 18 cm Ø) or a ring. Cut 12 quuddrates (5 x 5 cm each) from the remaining cake and cut out 1 star (4 cm Ø). Spread half of the squares and the star with red and the other half with white glaze. Decorate everything immediately with colourful beads and stars and let it dry.

    Cut 1 cake circle into 12 cake pieces. Spread 6 pieces with red and 6 with white glaze. Sprinkle them with love beads and let them dry. Place the 2nd round cake plate on the pudding and carefully turn everything out of the bowl onto a cake plate. Place the squares at the bottom of the cake and press them together. Place the cake pieces on the pudding and finally the star at the top in the middle
