Ingredients

Servings: 21
  • 500 g Flour
  • 1 knife tip Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 50 g Butter or margarine
  • 1/4 l Milk
  • 1 cube (42 g) fresh yeast
  • 50 g chopped almonds
  • 50 g Raisins
  • 30 g Sugar crystals
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 7-10 Tbsp Flour
  • 7-10 Tbsp Grease

Directions

  1. 1

Sieve the flour into a bowl. Press a depression in the middle. Add salt and egg. Sprinkle with 50 g sugar. Melt the fat and add cold milk, except 1 tablespoon.

  2. 2

Mix yeast and 10 g sugar. Add yeast and lukewarm milk mixture to the flour and knead everything into a smooth yeast dough. Dust with flour, cover and leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Knead the dough on a floured work surface and let it rise for another 15 minutes. Divide the dough into thirds and knead in almonds, raisins and sugar crystals, each to 1 tablespoon. Form a roll out of each third and divide into about 7 equal pieces. Form a round roll from each piece. Place rolls in a loose arrangement on a greased baking tray to form a party sun. Mix the egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of milk, brush the rolls with it and decorate with the rest of almonds, sugar crystals or raisins.
