Ingredients

  • 500 g Nut kernels (e.g. hazelnuts, walnuts, Brazil nuts and almonds)
  • 325 g cold + some butter
  • 250 g + some flour
  • 1 coated Tsp Baking Powder
  • 100 g + 250 g sugar
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 knife tip Salt
  • 1 Egg (Gr. M)
  • 125 g liquid honey
  • 6 tablespoons (60 g) Whipped cream

Directions

    Roughly chop the nuts. Grease the fat pan (approx. 32 x 39 cm). Knead 250 g flour, baking powder, 100 g sugar, vanillin sugar, salt, 125 g butter in pieces and egg first with a hand mixer, then briefly with your hands until smooth. Dust with a little flour on the fat pan, roll out and prick several times with a fork

    Melt 200 g butter, honey and 250 g sugar and simmer while stirring for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in cream and nuts. Spread on the kneading dough. Bake in the preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 °C/ convection oven 150 °C/gas: level 2) for about 25 minutes. Let cool off. Cut into approx. 4 cm cubes

    You can cut the crunchy nut plate particularly well into small cubes with the electric knife or with a pizza cutter
