Creamy pea soup with smoked salmon

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 TABLESPOON Oil
  • 1 TEASPOON dried marjoram
  • 3-4 Tbsp Vegetable broth (instant)
  • 500 g yellow or green peas
  • 150 g frozen peas
  • 200 g Whipped cream
  • 150 g Smoked salmon in thin slices
  • 7-10 Tbsp Salt
  • 7-10 Tbsp Pepper
  • 7-10 Tbsp Sugar
  • 7-10 Tbsp fresh marjoram

Directions

    Peel and chop the onions. Heat the oil in a large pot. Fry the onions in it until transparent. Add marjoram. Deglaze with 2 l water. Stir in broth and add peas. Bring everything to the boil, cover and simmer for about 50 minutes

    Take 2 tablespoons of peas from the broth and set aside. Mash the rest of the peas in the broth. Stir in frozen peas and 150 g cream and simmer for about 5 minutes

    Cut salmon into strips. Add to the soup with set aside peas. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Lightly whip 50 g cream. Arrange soup with cream and possibly marjoram
