Cream puff with fruit cream

Ingredients

  • 25 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 75 g Flour
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 1 package Vanillin sugar
  • 1 TEASPOON Baking Powder
  • 300 ml Milk
  • 1 pack of Cream powder "Lemon-
  • 7-10 Tbsp Taste"
  • 4 Tangerines
  • 2 TABLESPOONS Icing sugar for the
  • 7-10 Tbsp Dusting
  • baking paper

Directions

    Bring 1/8 litre water, fat and salt to the boil. Pour in the flour at once and stir until the dough comes off the bottom of the pot as a lump. Pour the dough into a bowl and first stir in an egg.

    Let the dough cool down a little. Stir in the second egg, vanilla sugar and baking powder and allow to cool completely. Pour into a piping bag with a large star-shaped spout. Spray about eight pastry rosettes onto a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 200 °C/ gas: level 3)

    Remove from the tray and immediately cut off the lids with scissors. Let the cream puffs cool down. Pour milk into a tall mixing bowl. Add cream powder all at once and whisk at highest speed for three minutes until creamy.

    Pour into a piping bag with a star-shaped spout and fill into the cream puffs with it. Peel and slice the mandarins, cut them into quarters and put them into the cream filling. Place the lid on the cream puffs and chill the pastry for 30 minutes.

    Serve dusted with icing sugar. Makes eight cream puffs.
