Ingredients

  • 350 g Flour
  • 2 TEASPOONS Baking Powder
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 package Citro-back
  • 200 g Butter or margarine
  • 1 egg (size M)
  • 1 Egg yolk (size M)
  • 7-10 Tbsp Cling film
  • baking paper
  • 175 g Icing sugar
  • 4-6 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 7-10 Tbsp yellow food coloring
  • 40 g colourful sweets (chocolate lentils, sugar pearls,
  • 7-10 Tbsp sugar sticks etc.)

Directions

    Prepare a shortcrust pastry from the dough ingredients. Wrap in foil and chill for about 30 minutes. Paint a cloud on baking paper the size of a baking tray and cut it out. Roll out dough between 2 layers of foil 2-3 mm thick.

    Place the cloud template on top and cut it out. Cut out stars of different sizes from the remaining dough. Bake cloud in the preheated oven (electric oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 3) on the 2nd rack from below for about 15 minutes.

    Bake stars for 12-15 minutes at the same temperature. Let it cool down. Dust cloud with 4 tablespoons of icing sugar. Mix the remaining icing sugar with lemon juice and a few drops of food colouring. Cover stars with it and decorate some with colored candy.

    Place stars with remaining icing on the cloud.
