Ingredients

Servings: 56
  • 300 g white couverture
  • 1/2 Vanilla pod
  • 175 g Butter
  • 30 g liquid honey
  • 50 ml Orange liqueur
  • 1-2 (approx. 30 g) candied orange slices to decorate
  • 30 g Candied orange peel
  • 1 (approx. 224 g) Palette whole milk star half-shells (56 pieces)
  • 1 TABLESPOON finely chopped pistachio kernels

Directions

  1. 1

Coarsely chop the chocolate coating and melt it on a hot water bath. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the pulp. Cream soft butter, honey and vanilla pulp. Gradually add the liquid chocolate coating while stirring. Then stir in the orange liqueur. Chill the mixture for 20-30 minutes until it is thick and creamy. In the meantime, cut the candied orange slices into fine strips.

  2. 2

Chop the candied orange peel very finely. Whip the truffle mixture again briefly and stir in the candied orange peel. Put the truffle mixture into a piping bag with a medium-sized star-shaped spout. Quickly, with hands as cool as possible, squirt a tuff into each star-shaped spout. Decorate immediately with orange strips and sprinkle with pistachios. Put the chocolates in a cool place for 1-2 hours. Results in 56 stars
